We put the auction up on a projector and the hall went quiet every time a bid came in. First time it felt like an event instead of a meeting.

Players registered themselves with photo, role and bowling style. We used to spend a week collecting that over WhatsApp and half of it still came in wrong.

I hammered a player to the wrong team and undid it in a second, in front of the whole room. The bidding just carried on.

The squad and auction PDFs at the end are what the committee actually wanted. Every player, base price and final bid on record, and nobody typed it up.

Entry fees came in over UPI straight to my own account, with the payment screenshot sitting on each registration. No cash box and no register.

Our second season took one evening to set up. The format, the purse and the bid steps were already the way we wanted them.

Our owners followed their purse and their squad from their own phones while the auction ran. Nobody had to lean over the auctioneer's laptop to check what they had left.

We dropped the live link into the group and families watched from home. People who could not reach the ground still knew every pick.

Once the squads were locked the fixtures came out in one go, with grounds and time slots on them. That used to be an evening around a whiteboard.

Running it set by set, with an unsold round after each set, let owners actually plan. They knew which bowlers were still to come and held money back.

Purse left, players bought and slots still open, all on one screen while the bidding runs. No spreadsheet on the side and no argument about the maths afterwards.

It shows the highest bid you can still make and fill your squad. That one number stops you emptying the purse on your second buy.

Points table and net run rate updated as we recorded results. Nobody had to keep a separate sheet for the standings.

We pushed the overlay into OBS and streamed the auction out. It looked like something a proper league would run, not a room with a laptop.

Setting up twelve teams, purses and category sets took an afternoon. The spinning wheel pick is the part the room enjoyed most. We have already blocked out the dates for next season.

Good to know
Share your tournament registration link. Players complete your custom form, add a photo and upload payment proof when an entry fee is required. You review entries and approve players from one dashboard.
Players pay using your payment instructions and attach a screenshot as proof. The money goes directly to you. You review the proof and confirm payment; CricketOrganizer does not automatically verify entry fees.
You can review and reject an entry from the registration dashboard. Contact the player about any corrections or fee refunds before accepting a replacement entry.
Yes. Build your own registration form with a drag-and-drop editor (add, reorder, and require any field), then set your fee. In India you add a UPI ID and players get an auto-generated QR to scan; elsewhere you write your own payment instructions — a bank transfer, a payment link, or cash on the day. Either way the money settles into your account with zero platform commission, and players attach proof you verify before approving.
Absolutely. Run professional IPL-style auctions with real-time bidding, team purses, and a live spectator screen. Set base prices, track bids as they happen, and players are assigned the moment they're sold.
Yes. Team owners can join and bid from anywhere on their own device, while spectators follow every lot live. Everyone sees the same real-time auction, whether they're in the hall or at home.
Unsold players are clearly marked and can be put back into a second round at a revised base price, or added directly to a team's squad by the organizer. You stay in full control of every roster even after the auction closes.
Yes. Each owner opens a live hub on their own phone showing purse remaining, the exact maximum bid they can safely make, players bought versus squad size, and how many slots they still need, so nobody overspends or strands their roster.
Players and teams can follow fixtures, results and standings on your public tournament page. Points tables and net run rate update when you record match results. Live ball-by-ball scoring is not included.
Yes. You can manage separate tournaments from one organizer account. Each has its own registration form, teams, auction, fixtures and standings. Team upgrades are purchased separately for each tournament.
Enter your teams and preferred format (round-robin, knockout, or group stage with knockouts) and the scheduler builds a full fixture list instantly. You can tweak match timings and venues before publishing to everyone.
Yes. Export branded PDF reports for official squad rosters, a full auction results summary, and an unsold players registry. Player registrations can also be exported to CSV.
The first 3 teams and 75 players are free, with every feature included. Pay once per additional team, up to 32 teams, at the price shown for your billing currency. There is no subscription or platform commission on registration fees.
No. The free team and player allowance has no trial clock and requires no credit card. You can use registration, live auctions, broadcasts, fixtures and reports before adding more teams.
Your player allowance is 25 players per team. The free 3-team allowance includes 75 players; an 8-team tournament allows 200 players. You can add teams up to the 32-team limit.
Yes. Upgrade the team allowance on your existing tournament and pay only for the additional teams. Your registration form, players, squads and settings stay with the same tournament.
