Score every ball inside the tournament you already run
Live ball-by-ball scoring arrives for every tournament on 30 October 2026: a scorer console that works on any phone, a public match centre your group can follow over, and a table that settles itself from the innings as they are scored.

Why here
A scoring app should not start with an empty team sheet
Every standalone scoring app asks the same thing first: type in two teams and eleven names each. For a one-off street match that is fine. For a tournament it is the third time those names have been typed, after the registration form and the squad list, and it is where the scorecard quietly stops matching the tournament it belongs to.
Scoring here is attached to a fixture in a tournament that already knows all of it. The players arrived through registration, the squads were picked in the auction, and the match itself came out of the fixture list. The scorer opens the match and the sides are already in it.
That is also what makes the numbers worth anything afterwards. A scorecard that lives in a separate app is a photograph of one evening. Scored into the tournament, the same balls move the points table, the net run rate and a player's season totals without anybody copying a figure from one screen to another.
Arriving 30 October 2026
What scoring will do on the day it lands
Six things, and nothing on this list is a plan: each one is built and under end-to-end verification now.
A scorer console that fits in one hand
Ball by ball in a phone browser with nothing to install: runs, wides, no-balls, a wicket and how it fell, with the over turning over on its own.
One match, handed to one scorer
Pass somebody a single match by link or QR code and it stays theirs for six hours. They never get an account on your tournament, and you never get a stranger in your workspace.
A public match centre
The same public page your group already opens, carrying the innings as it is scored rather than a result typed in afterwards.
The whole match record
Toss, officials and the super over, with postponing or cancelling a fixture kept to the administrator rather than to whoever is holding the scoring device.
Standings that settle themselves
Points and net run rate recomputed from the innings as they are scored, per group and per stage, so the table stops being something you maintain.
The season's numbers
Match performances rolling up into tournament and career totals, leaderboards for the season, and a profile per player that fills itself in.
Before the date
What you can run today, without waiting
Kept honest and kept separate. None of this needs scoring, and all of it is what scoring will be added to.
A tournament set up now is a tournament that is ready on day one. Registrations with your own questions and fees, squads picked by hand or at a live auction, and a fixture list with dates, start times and grounds all work today, as does a public page every team can open without an account.
Results work today too, recorded match by match as they finish, with the points table and net run rate following from them. What is not here yet is the ball-by-ball half: the console, the live match centre, and the per-player record that only scored innings can produce. That is the 30 October 2026 release, and it arrives on top of all of the above rather than replacing any of it.
Straight answer
What this will and will not be
Set out before you sign up rather than discovered after, including the parts a dedicated analysis app does better.
From 30 October 2026 it will
- Score ball by ball in a phone browser, on every tournament, at no extra cost
- Hand one match to one scorer by link or QR code, with no account and no standing access
- Carry the innings on a public match centre while it is being scored
- Keep the full match record: toss, officials, the super over, and the scorecard
- Recompute points and net run rate from scored innings, per group and per stage
- Roll match performances into tournament totals, career totals and season leaderboards
It will not
- Draw wagon wheels or pitch mapsNot built, and not planned with this release
- Track the ball, or touch videoNothing here involves a camera
- Compute fantasy pointsThere is no fantasy engine on the platform
- Score a match that is not in a tournamentScoring belongs to a fixture, so the tournament comes first
- Be available before the date on this pageLive ball-by-ball scoring starts 30 October 2026
The people behind the tournaments.
We put the auction up on a projector and the hall went quiet every time a bid came in. First time it felt like an event instead of a meeting.

Players registered themselves with photo, role and bowling style. We used to spend a week collecting that over WhatsApp and half of it still came in wrong.

I hammered a player to the wrong team and undid it in a second, in front of the whole room. The bidding just carried on.

The squad and auction PDFs at the end are what the committee actually wanted. Every player, base price and final bid on record, and nobody typed it up.

Entry fees came in over UPI straight to my own account, with the payment screenshot sitting on each registration. No cash box and no register.

Our second season took one evening to set up. The format, the purse and the bid steps were already the way we wanted them.

Good to know
Scoring questions, answered
Scoring
When can I score a match?
From 30 October 2026. Live ball-by-ball scoring arrives then for every tournament on the platform, which means the one you are running now as well as the next one. Before that date you can already build the fixture list with dates, start times and grounds, record a result when a match finishes, and publish the points table that follows from it. What 30 October 2026 adds is the ball-by-ball half: the console, the live public match centre, and a table that updates itself from scored innings instead of from a result you enter.
Does the person scoring need an account?
No, and that is deliberate. Most matches are scored by whoever is free at the ground, and asking that person to create an account before the toss is how a match ends up unscored. You hand them one match by link or QR code, it stays theirs for six hours, and their access ends with the match rather than becoming a standing login on your tournament.
Will it work on a phone at the ground?
It runs in a phone browser, so there is nothing to install and no app store to wait for. What we will not do is promise you a number for patchy ground wifi before it is in production and measured: the engine and its durability chain are built and verified on our staging line, and what they tolerate on a real boundary rope is something we will state plainly on the launch date rather than guess at now.
Do I get wagon wheels and ball-by-ball analytics?
No. There are no wagon wheels, no pitch maps, no ball tracking or video, and no fantasy points, and none of those are planned with this release. What the scored data does produce is the record: a full scorecard per match, match performances, tournament and career totals, season leaderboards, standings and net run rate. If a wagon wheel is what you are shopping for, a dedicated analysis app will serve you better than we will.
What happens to the tournament I am running right now?
Nothing you have already recorded changes. Its fixtures, results and table stay exactly as they are, and scoring arrives as another way to record a match rather than as a migration you have to run. A tournament half-played on recorded results can have the rest of its matches scored ball by ball.
Pricing
Does scoring cost extra?
No. Scoring is not an add-on or a higher tier. You pay for the size of the tournament and nothing else: the first three teams are free and extra teams are priced per team, with no feature held back on any plan. A tournament you can run today is a tournament that can be scored from the day scoring lands.
